💡 Why Colored Fibers Beat Dye
Most braided line is dyed after it's woven. The color sits on the surface and wears off with use, sun and saltwater. NEVER FADE uses fibers that are colored at the source, so the color is built into every strand.
🎯 Which Line Weight Do I Need?
A good starting point. Match it to your rod and reel rating.
| Line weight | Common uses |
|---|---|
| 6–15 lb | Spinning reels, panfish, trout, walleye, finesse bass |
| 20–30 lb | All-around bass, inshore saltwater, most baitcasters |
| 40–65 lb | Frogs, punching, heavy cover, pike and musky, surf |
| 80–100 lb | Offshore jigging, big game, heavy saltwater |
📏 Which Length Do I Need?
- 150 yds — tops off one reel
- 300 yds — fills most bass and inshore reels, or tops off two
- 500–1,000 yds — several reels or a full rod lineup, at a lower cost per yard
- 1,500–3,000 yds — bulk spools for big offshore reels, guides and shops

🪢 Rigging Tips
- Knot: we suggest a Palomar knot for tying braid directly to hooks and lures.
- Clear water or line-shy fish: add a fluorocarbon leader.
- Cutting: braid is tough on regular clippers. Braid shears make clean cuts.
