I Really Love The Latches On These

I would have given these 5 stars . The quality of these boxes are great. Reaction Tackle offers several choices in tackle trays. This one is super strong and the larger latches are very strong - much stronger than the trays with the smaller 1 inch wide latches. The only reason I deducted 1 star is because the depth of these boxes are slightly deeper than all the others which sounds like a plus and mostly is but when the ads for the tackle boxes state “holds 8 3700 tackle trays” that will not apply to these trays. They are a fraction of an inch deeper but when multiplied by 6, 8 or 12 trays it translates to only being able to use 5, 7 or 11 trays in the bag. It is not a huge deal but it will cause confusion for people purchasing a bag.

These boxes seem to be a nice quality, I'll be filling them up this holiday weekend. Nice to have the adjustable dividers to fit my different size lures and misc. stuff

Thank you for reaching out! This is a great question, as ElaZtech material requires a little extra care compared to standard soft plastics.

Regarding our Reaction Tackle Flat Tackle Trays, here is what you need to know:

Material Compatibility: Most of our tackle trays are made from high-quality, durable polypropylene. Polypropylene is generally resistant to the chemical reactions caused by ElaZtech. However, the most important rule for ElaZtech is to never mix it with other types of soft plastics (traditional PVC baits), as they will react and melt together regardless of the container.

Storage Tip: While the trays themselves are safe, Z-Man (the makers of ElaZtech) officially recommends storing these baits in their original packaging to maintain their shape and prevent any potential leaching of the oils.

Heat Sensitivity: If you do choose to store them "naked" in our trays, we recommend keeping the trays in a cool, dry place. Extreme heat can sometimes cause the material to warp or react with certain dividers over long periods.

Pro-tip: If you are using our Waterproof Tackle Trays, the airtight seal is excellent for keeping moisture out, but we still suggest keeping the baits in their original bags inside the tray compartments for the best long-term results.
