Man I was so fed up fishing my pond that’s covered in pads. Usually use 4/0 offset regular hooks and after 3 casts with no bites my frog was torn up. Used these today and even though the fishing wasn’t good, I didn’t lose or damage one frog. These things are awesome with weeds and pads won’t ever go back to regular hooks.

It seems to work well so far. I'm new to this process of attaching hooks but so far, it seems pretty good. I saw it advertised on Roland Martin's show and I liked the concept for certain baits.

Bait stays on very well with these hooks! I threw a frog for hours and landed many bass before I had to put on a new bait!

I use these in a size 2 for thin bodied plastics. The spring screw holds the body without sliding out like the EWG hooks, that rips the heads of the baits after a few cast or catching a fish. These hooks are thin wire, however they are pretty strong very sharp.Update. I had given this product 4 stars earlier. After using these hooks for a couple of weeks, I find that the spring screw is to short and does not go deep enough into the plastics. Larger bass 2-3lbs rip the baits off the spring screw provided. I still like the hooks, they have remained sharp and have not bent out pulling out pounds of thick grass. I'm going to try a deeper spring screw. Other than that, the hooks are fine. Oh BTW, I'm talking about the size 2/0 hooks. Happy fishing.

I bought this hook specifically for fatter soft plastic swimbaits. The bend under the eye of the hook is great because the fatter soft plastic does not smush up against the hook nearly as much as a straight hook. More importantly, the screw in piece saves money because the soft plastic baits hold up much better being screwed in as opposed to being run up the hook.

These hooks are great! I use them rock fishing from shore in Northern California and it’s amazing how many fewer snags I get. The presentation is amazing. I’m gonna buy a couple different sizes. I like to pinch my barbs and these ones lay down nicely.
