Reaction Tackle Ice Fishing Jigs

These jigs are well made, strong with great colors. The larger 6mm and 7mm options are perfect! Not many jigs this size on the market and rarely found, if ever, in any of the stores around. The 7mm jigs are about 1-¼" long, a perfect jig to tip with a live minnow. This size jig is perfect for Walleyes, Crappies, Perch, Bass and Trout.

I haven't used these jigs yet but I intend to use them for ice fishing, and I think they will work well. The hooks are sharp and the paint doesn't scratch off.

These were exactly as expected. I went with the wonderbread color because I've done well with the color in the past. These are 4mm and measure out to be about right. It'll be a good size for panfish. I probably should've went with the larger 5mm because I've gotten good sized crappies in the past. The color is nice and bright plus it glows in the dark very bright. (I put these jigs in my beanie and snapped a picture.) They're much brighter than I anticipated but hopefully they're just as bright when the temperatures drop. The ice isn't quite thick enough but I'm excited ot try these out.

These jigs far exceeded my expectations. The hooks are very strong and the eyelets are clear of paint. I have purchased many of this style and have had to clean the paint from all the eyelets before being able to tie them on the line, in doing so it often cracks the coating. These are very clean and well made.

The wonder bread paint pattern is a killer pattern during the ice fishing season. These are a very nice set of those exact jigs. Well made and well painted. Can’t wait to have the grandkids use them and watch their faces when they are slaying the fish with them.

I bought this for Porgy fishing.Obviously it is not suitable for long casts, but if you put a fairly small crab on the hook and drop it slowly on a rock or pier in a close spot, it will bite during the fall.It is made of tungsten so it has a good weight for its size and is easy to get to the bottom.However, as for the size of the hook, I think it would be better if it were a little larger.

The Wonder Bread pattern has been my go-to lure for catching pan fish thru the ice. I have had good luck catching perch, bluegills, and croppies with them. I even caught a northern pike on one last winter while jigging for perch. Because they are so small, I like the fact that they are made out of tungsten. This makes them a bit heavier to help get the lure back on bottom quicker when the fish are biting. These are well made with sharp hooks and NO paint filling the hook eyes.

The paint job and these jigs is very good and the paint has a nice bright shine to it. Looking forward to using these jigs to catch some crappie.

I like to do my fair share of fishing for panfish, and the one thing that never fails is that the smaller fish are always higher in the water column. So the only way to get my hook to the bottom was to use a bigger lead weight. With Tungsten jigs, you can drop your hook fast through the water column in order to get it in front of the bigger panfish. These are perfect size to drop quickly, but not be to big that it scares your target fish from taking a bite.I am switching all of my panfish lures from lead to Tungsten

These tungsten ice jigs appear to be a great option. I plan to use them for bluegill, crappie and perch this winter.Why 5 stars:1. The size is in-line with what I'd anticipate. This seems to vary with some manufacturers and the 4mm jigs I ordered are right in line with the 4mm jigs I have from other well known brands.2. The hooks seem to be good quality. They first appeared to be barbless, but upon close inspection I was able to see and feel a micro-barb. I like a bit of a barb on the ice jigs, as they are short shanked and I believe that waxworms and spikes stay on better when the hook has a barb. The hooks are also sharp - they will scratch the top of a fingernail when dragged across and they passed my "fingertip test".3. The paint appears to be good quality. The paint jobs are reasonably consistent and the paint is where it is supposed to be - covering the tungsten body of the jig - not where it shouldn't be (the shank or point of the hook)4. Every hook eye is clean and the jigs are ready to be tied on. To me this was the difference between 4 stars and 5. When I need to re-tie, I don't want to waste time cleaning paint out of the hook eye so I can tie one on. This is especially true when working with tiny ice jigs in freezing conditions.While I went with the wonderbread pattern, it looked like other good choices were available.I hope to be back this winter with some success pictures...

These are my first tungsten jigs. They have a nice weight to them for their size. I expected them to be much lighter and need supplemental weight. I caught a few sunnies with them while doing some late Fall fishing. These are great for panfish. I fish ice jigs year round, so they will get plenty of use.The jig paint is nice, not lumpy and sloppy. Color is good. These are very nice jigs. Pricewise, they are a great value.Really nice jigs.

First of all these are the 5 mm jigs, which come with a number 12 hook. If you are the person who wants 4 spikes on the hook, you may want a size 7 jig, because about 2 spikes is all these will hold. The hooks feel quite sharp. The eye you tie the line to is clean; meaning without paint in it. These are the popular wonderbread color and the paint is hard and well done. The only complaint is they are packaged 6 jigs in a small ziplock bag and 2 of the 6 did have paint chipped off in a couple small spots from handling. Otherwise for a price point of 11.99 they are not too bad of a deal.

I got these tungsten jigs for ice fishing this year. This pack is a great value. This is almost 6 jigs for the price of one at my local fishing store. The paint job is good and the glow is nice and bright. I like the weight of these versus the lead alternative they sink faster and get me to fishing depth quicker.

Well constructed small jigs. I got the 4 mm size and the body of the jig is 4.3 mm by 8 mm and total lengths is 14 mm. Workmanship, color and hook are good. Hoping to post a followup fishing report.

I match this jig with a Berkely minnow gulp . I caught a juvenile redfish on immediately on my second cast. I was targeting bluegill in brackish water and the jig performed perfectly. The hook was razor sharp

These little jigs (wonderbread) are my go-to. I have a lot of other tackle and nothing else matches them in terms of durability and catchability. I began using the short ones (5mm) for ice fishing and they caught everything from tiny perch to a 24-inch walleye. But they also work insanely well in the summer! These things (paired with a tiny rattail softbait from Liquid Willowcat) will entice bites when nothing else works; I generally start and end the day with these jigs on my rod. The hooks are also less likely to bend than anything else I've found. I often fish for small species, but then a pike will come along and bend my hooks to sh*t. But not when I'm fishing these! They can withstand pike bites as well as intense snags on big debris. Seriously, these things are the best.

Awesome jig. Strong and ready for battle. Colors are great and last. Perfect jig for a live minnow on the rattle reel. The 7mm jig works well for live bait and bigger fish. The 7mm allows you to be selective for just those big crappies and perch. These are quickly becoming my favorite jig for Walleyes

I am in Wisconsin and was having a hard time finding a longer shank hook on a tungsten jig, These work perfect for the walleye fishing I do and allow for a great hook set. I bought the 10 pack and turn around and bought a thirty pack.
