I just bought the tungsten punch rig. How is it supposed to be set up on my line?
Steps for Setting It Up:
Slide a bobber stop onto your line (or something similar). This will keep the tungsten weight in place.
Thread the tungsten punch weight onto your line. The weight should be free to move but will be held in place by the bobber stop.
Tie on a heavy-duty flipping hook using a strong knot like a Palomar or Snell knot.
Rig your soft plastic bait (creature bait or craw) onto the hook, Texas-rig style, ensuring it's weedless.
Slide the bobber stop down to snugly hold the tungsten weight against the hook and bait.
