Metered lead core trolling line. 8-strand braid over a lead core gets your lure down without extra weights. The color changes every 10 yards so you can count colors and repeat depths. 12–36 lb, 100 or 200 yards, in Multi Color or Orange.
- ✅ Depth control — run lures at a set depth with no extra sinkers
- ✅ Metered every 10 yards — count colors to repeat what works
- ✅ Sensitive — feel strikes on long trolling runs
- ✅ Walleye, trout, salmon and more
📐 Size Chart
| Line weight | Diameter |
|---|---|
| 12 lb | 0.54 mm |
| 18 lb | 0.63 mm |
| 27 lb | 0.75 mm |
| 36 lb | 0.85 mm |
🎯 Sink Rates (1 oz lure)
Current, lure weight and boat speed all change sink rate. As a starting point:
| Trolling speed | Sink per color |
|---|---|
| 1–1.5 mph | 5–6 ft |
| 2.0 mph | 4–5 ft |
| 2.5 mph | 3–4 ft |
- Add about 0.25 ft per color for each 1/4 oz over 1 oz; subtract 0.25 ft for each 1/4 oz under.
- Sink rates are similar for all line weights: heavier line has more drag.
- The thermocline can change sink rates once you reach it.
🪢 Leader Tip
We recommend a 100% fluorocarbon or mono leader. Pinch about 12 inches of lead out of the end of the line before tying so the knot seats evenly.
