Lead Core Sink Rates:
Please note many things will affect the sink rates such as current, lure weights and boat speed
Generally, you should expect the following when trolling with a 1 ounce lure:
• 5 to 6 feet of sink per color when trolling at 1 to 1.5 mph
• 4 to 5 feet of sink per color when trolling at 2.0 mph
• 3 to 4 feet of sink per color when trolling at 2.5 mph
• Add .25 feet of sink for each 1/4 ounce of lure weight above 1 ounce
• Subtract .25 feet of sink for each 1/4 ounce of lure weight below 1 ounce

Notes:
• Thermal cline may affect the sink rates once you reach it
• Sink rates are very similar for all pound test rates because larger diameters are heavier but have more drag
• If a leader is to be used, we recommend a 100% fluorocarbon leader or monofilament. It is helpful to pinch the lead out of the section of line to be tied so that the knot will tighten more evenly. Typically, removal of twelve inches of lead works well

I’ve bought 6 or 8 spools of your lead core

I’ve bought 6 or 8 spools of your lead core. Probably the best lead core line on the market today. However 1 of the last 2 spools of 12 lb. i bought had 2 bad spots. 4 colors into it had a bad spot so I cut it and spliced it and continued spooling then 5 colors in was another frayed area, at that point I threw it away. I hope this was just a spool that got past quality control and not reaction tackle quality going down hill.

Now that the open water season is over here in Wisconsin and I have used the lead core quite a bit this last season with tha additions of( 2) 7 colors and (2) 10 colors set ups all of the 27lb with zero issues the entire season ( only issue I had was the fish didn't cooperate when I was using it ) :( hopefully next year I will have fish on to give another review but all in all what a great product and thanks for that

I'm the owner of JT'S KUSTOM CRANKBAITS and GUIDE SERVICE so this is used weekly I'm running the 27lb on 6 trolling rods a 2color on 2. 3 color on 2 rods and a 5 color on 2 rods I use these for walleye and salmon for the 22 season so far and have not had any problems with the product I'll be adding 2 7 color and 2 10 color to my set up shortly

I used the product to troll for Stripers in Smith Lake. It has been so hot and these fish go down very deep and the different color line is very helpful.

This last week has been one I'll never forget. Definitely put the test to the new Reaction Tackle lead core line. Haven't had any issues with the lead braking apart an coming out of the outer coating. Like some other brands. By far the smoothest line iv ever had on a line counter.

Pleasantly surprised with the quality.

Small diameter allowed me to put all 20 colors on my reel. Can’t attest to the the durability till I drag it across some rocks but it seems comparable to tuf line and suffix.

15 lbs leadcore

The classic lead core knot connection is tough to get with this small diameter but the line is perfect for smaller reels and lighter species. According to the dive charts this should dive about the same as the heavier lines so its a no brainer!
